What can you do NOW?
* Visit the News24 Load Shedding Blog
* Get a generator. Seriously, if you need electricity to do any productive work at your home or office, invest in a generator. It could solve some immediate problems you have. Do however keep a lookout for our suggestions in the next section to plan for long terms solutions.
* Get or fill your gas cylinder and use gas appliances for cooking and light
* Get emergency lights - they usually have two fluorescent tubes. There are a number of online resellers including Eagle Appliances, Gadget Man and Digital planet
